Ashley Mataka
GENERAL MANAGER
Ashley is a qualified property manager/valuer with 18 years of experience. He has been involved in the management and valuation of residential, commercial, industrial, hotels and land plant and machinery. He is the General Manager in our Bulawayo Branch.

Duties
- Responsible for the Bulawayo branch reporting to the MD.
- Feasibility analysis of potential projects.
- Strategic property identification.
- Location analysis.
- Evaluate properties on site and measure land dimensions.
- Assess the business potential of specific vicinities.
- Researching value of assets and producing detailed reports.
- Rental and operation costs collection.
- Drafting leases and addendums.
- Rental assessments to determine fair rental.
- Responsible for communication to the landlord.
- Attend meetings with landlords and tenants.
- Responsible for portfolio analysis and building performance.
- In liaison with the MD undertake feasibility and property developments analysis.
- Training and motivating staff.
- Responsible for policy formation together with the MD.
- Handover of tenants for collection and evictions.
- Tenant selections.

She has 9 years working experience in valuation and property management. She has been involved in the valuation of residential, commercial, industrial, hotels and land plant and machinery.

Duties
- Feasibility analysis of potential projects.
- Strategic property identification.
- Location analysis.
- Evaluate properties on site and measure land dimensions.
- Assess the business potential of specific vicinities.
- Researching value of assets and producing detailed reports.
- Measuring lettable areas.
- Periodical inspection of properties to ascertain condition and repairs needed.
- Promptly attending to repairs and maintenance.
- Obtaining suitable tenants for the properties.
- Preparation of lease agreements and addendums and making sure tenant signs.
- Carrying out rent reviews.
- Making sure that correct rent and operating costs are posted or generated.
- Collecting rent and recovering costs.
- Ensuring that statements and rent summaries are sent to clients.
- Attending to general correspondence (enquiries/queries & complaints).
- Ensuring that all correspondence is filed.
- Periodically reporting to property owners.
- Taking legal action on debtors to protect the property owners’ rights.
- Performing any other duties as assigned by my supervisor.
